BATTLE FOR THE BALL: Winchester's Dave Allen against Bridgwater

WINCHESTER City had a mixed Easter weekend, following up Saturday's 3-0 hammering of Bridgwater with Monday's disappointing home loss to struggling Andover.

Andy Leader's men looked set for a cracking few days after the confidence boosting win over Bridgwater.

However, despite taking the lead against lowly Andover, City succumbed to a 2-1 defeat, missing a second half penalty that would have earned a point.

It had all started so well for Leader's side, as substitute Brett Williams' double helped them to the impressive victory over Bridgwater.
