Sea, Sand and Stress Free Seclusion...

Caribbean holidays will find you visiting a cluster of over 7000 islands, just off the coast of Central America, nestling gently between the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Lying just above the equator means those Caribbean holidays can be enjoyed all year round; except perhaps in September which can be prone to the odd hurricane.

Whatever your taste, there is a Caribbean holiday with your name on it. Whether it's hiking through some of the most beautiful trails and picturesque scenery in the world, a rum cocktail at a traditional beach bar or energetic water sports that float your boat, there is something on Caribbean holidays especially for you.

The only thing you need to worry about on Caribbean holidays is which island to choose. The largest island in the group and one of the most popular with British tourists is Cuba. Diversity is the buzz word here with stunning white beaches, vibrant nightlife and cities such as Havana and Varadero to explore.

Jamaica will find you in the homeland of music legend Bob Marley where days are spent swinging in a hammock and nights swaying to the infectious reggae beat.

Barbados has been another favourite on Caribbean holidays for many years with its pastel colonial houses and endless fields of sugar cane, blended perfectly with the energetic nightlife of its capital Bridgetown.

If its love and romance you are looking for then Caribbean holidays are the perfect choice, however St Kitts or the Cayman Islands with their isolated beaches, unspoilt seclusion and tropical rain forests are the ideal destinations.

Antigua has a wonderful harbour that used to be a British naval base back in the 18th century and you can spend many hours just watching life go by as the yachts and colourful fishing boats bob gently in the peaceful bay.

The longest stretch of sands to be found on Caribbean holidays is at Punta Cana in the stunning Dominican Republic. Here, like on many other islands, days are spent catching the warm Caribbean rays, and evenings are spent unwinding to the Latin American party beat.

Aruba, just off the Venezuelan coast not only attracts beach lovers to its Caribbean paradise, but also those who enjoy some serious retail therapy with some fabulous designer boutiques.

Whichever island you choose, no Caribbean holidays are complete without a spot of scuba diving or snorkelling. You will find some of the most beautiful marine life and colourful corals that can be seen anywhere in the world around these islands where there is just as much to see below the water as there is above.

Accommodation on your Caribbean holidays is again very much down to personal choice, enjoy the luxury of all inclusive resorts that you never need to leave, or choose a traditional little guest house and sample life in the Caribbean like it is really meant to be; laid back, relaxing and totally at peace with the world.
