Sea, Sand and Stress Free Seclusion...

Caribbean holidays will find you visiting a cluster of over 7000 islands, just off the coast of Central America, nestling gently between the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Being located just above the equator means that Caribbean holidays can be enjoyed all year round, except perhaps during September which is prone to the occasional hurricane.

Whatever your taste, there is a Caribbean holiday with your name on it. Whether you prefer splashing through the clear blue waters on the back of a jet ski, wandering through stunning scenery and picturesque hiking trails or relaxing at a beach bar with a rum cocktail in your hand, Caribbean holidays can be made especially for you.

The only thing you need to worry about on Caribbean holidays is which island to choose. Cuba is one of the most popular islands with British tourists and it is also the largest of the group. Diversity is the buzz word here with stunning white beaches, vibrant nightlife and cities such as Havana and Varadero to explore.

Jamaica is the birthplace of music legend Bob Marley and life here is spent swaying gently to the infectious reggae beat in a hammock by the waters edge.

Barbados has been another favourite on Caribbean holidays for many years with its pastel colonial houses and endless fields of sugar cane, blended perfectly with the energetic nightlife of its capital Bridgetown.

Caribbean holidays are the perfect choice for a bit of love and romance with St Kitts and the Cayman Islands offering unspoilt seclusion, isolated beaches and tropical rainforests to explore.

Antigua has a wonderful harbour that used to be a British naval base back in the 18th century and you can spend many hours just watching life go by as the yachts and colourful fishing boats bob gently in the peaceful bay.

Although beaches are a major part of nearly all Caribbean holidays, the longest stretch of sands is found at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Here, like on many other islands, days are spent catching the warm Caribbean rays, and evenings are spent unwinding to the Latin American party beat.

Aruba just of the Venezuelan coast has some fabulous designer shops for when you can drag yourself away from the hidden coves and secluded beaches of this Caribbean paradise.

Whichever island you choose, no Caribbean holidays are complete without a spot of scuba diving or snorkelling. You will find some of the most colourful coral reefs anywhere in the world around these islands meaning there is just as much to see blow the water as there is above.

Accommodation on your Caribbean holidays is again very much down to personal choice, enjoy the luxury of all inclusive resorts that you never need to leave, or choose a traditional little guest house and sample life in the Caribbean like it is really meant to be; laid back, relaxing and totally at peace with the world.
