Man arrested after woman's body found
Detectives investigating the discovery of a woman's body in a Hampshire village have arrested a man.
The 27-year-old was arrested in London in connection with the discovery of the body in Dummer near Basingstoke last Thursday.
The man has been brought back to the county for questioning.
Detective Chief Inspector Gary O'Flaherty, from the Major Crime Department, said: "This arrest is just one part of an ongoing investigation and we are continuing to appeal for information and witnesses to this crime.
"We are also still trying to identify the woman and would ask anyone with any information to contact police."
