ALRESFORD could become part of the same constituency as Hook and Hartley Wintney.
Winchester City councillors will consider a motion to oppose the Boundary Commission’s proposal to relocate the market town into the North East Hampshire constituency.
The motion calls for Winchester MP Steve Brine to vote against the legislation that would result in Alresford being severed from the Winchester constituency.
The deadline for the Boundary Commission consultation is December 10.
