Father Christmas raising money for good causes

Santa has been touring Basingstoke
FATHER Christmas has been touring Basingstoke on a float – and generous residents are helping him to raise money for good causes.
The Rotary Club of Basingstoke Loddon has arranged for him to visit various places in the town, and members will accompany him to collect donations for various charities including Barnardos.
Santa arrived in Lychpit on Dec-ember 10, where families watched as he passed by accompanied by his Elf helpers and festive tunes.
The tour starts each evening at 5.30pm, and this week, Santa will be in Chineham on December 13 and 14.
On December 15 and 16, Father Christmas will be in town centre locations and he will be coming to Winklebury on December 17, Brighton Hill on December 18 and Brookvale on December 19 and 20.
