Basingstoke charity given boost

A BASINGSTOKE charity that looks after and re-homes abandoned cats has thanked people who donated to a recent fundraising drive.

Volunteers with the Basingstoke and District Branch of national charity Cats Protection raised £175.74 at Asda, in Brighton Hill.

People also donated cat food to the organisation. The cash will go towards costs of looking after cats and kittens waiting to be re-homed.
