Overton Parish Council to raise tax

OVERTON Parish Council has agreed to increase its precept by 1.24 per cent, which would be the equivalent of 48p extra for a Band D property.
The increase is needed because the parish council loaned funds to Overton Recreation Centre to help pay for its new pavilion.
