Popular model exhibition extended at Winchester Great Hall

AN exhibition of 1870s Winchester has been extended by popular demand.
Visitors can now see the model of Victorian Winchester at the Great Hall until March 2.
It was set to close on Saturday (Feb 16) but creator Roger Brown said the county council had agreed to extend it.
He said: “I’m very happy it’s been extended, which seems to be based on the number of visitors. It’s been very popular; lots of people have been going to see it so this means more people will get the chance to.”
