Ofsted sees improvement at Woolton Hill Junior School
1:30pm Sunday 17th February 2013 in News By Emily Roberts, Chief Reporter
A JUNIOR school has been judged by Ofsted inspectors to have improved since its last inspection.
Woolton Hill Junior School was visited by the education watchdog on January 16 and 17. A report, published on February 7, said it is now a “good” school and graded achievement of pupils and the quality of teaching as “good”, and the behaviour of pupils and leadership and management as “outstanding”.
It was graded as “satisfactory” following its last inspection in January 2010. The school is not yet classed as “outstanding” because the progress in writing is not sufficiently rapid.
