Rescuers overrun by rabbits
1:30pm Friday 22nd February 2013 in News By Joanne Mace
Poppy and Harvey
BASINGSTOKE’s animal charity STARescue is currently overrun with rabbits in need of good homes.
They include Harvey, an 18-month-old castrated male rabbit who is white with black markings and his partner, Poppy – a brown female around the same age.
All rabbits require a large hutch with plenty of straw to bed in, and they enjoy munching on fresh vegetables. Full dietary and care advice will be given upon adoption.
If you can offer Harvey and Poppy, or any of the charity’s other rabbits, a new start, contact STARescue on 01256 330532 and leave your name and telephone number, speaking clearly and repeating the number. Alternatively, email shirley. king860@ntlworld.com with the same information.
STARescue currently has a very large number of animals in urgent need of new homes due to the ever-increasing amount of people abandoning pets. To find out more about any of them, use the above contact details.
Further information on some of these potential pets, and every aspect of their work, is also available from the Basing View shop and online at the Facebook page or the official website starescue.info.
