The Clere School still making good progress after critical Ofsted report

A SECONDARY school which was graded as “inadequate” and put in special measures by Ofsted in December 2011 has been told it is still making good progress.

A monitoring visit was carried out at The Clere School in Earlstone Common on January 29.

A report, published on February 13, said there were no significant changes since the previous monitoring visit in September last year.

It added that Felicity Martin, the interim headteacher, has “a passionate determination to ensure that the school continues to improve quickly and sustainably. Staff and students share this aspirational vision”.
