Hampshire author to visit Kingsclere to talk about travels in north Afghanistan

AN AUTHOR will be visiting Kingsclere Village Club to talk about his travels walking from the Caucasus, a region at the border of Europe and Asia to the extreme north of Afghanistan.
John Pilkington, will be at the village club on Thursday, February 28, from 7.30pm.
Tickets, which are £10 for adults, £5 for children, are available from the village butcher or by calling 01635 297144.
