Breakers bid by bowlers

A GROUP of Andover bowling enthusiasts have launched a ‘Bring Back Breakers’ group.
A small group of people, supported by local councillors, say they are working towards opening Breakers as a community venture.
Organisers Debra Beatson, Anji Gillies and Bert Baxter said: “Although it’s still early days, all the support and offers of help from the people of Andover has been amazing.
“We believe Breakers community venue would be a fantastic asset to the town.”
The organisers have been inspired by talks about the rejuvenation of Andover, to offer a venue for families, for teens and for the community with Bowling, Youth Pub and Night Club.
As a community venture all profits would be reinvested into the project.
