Win tickets to see Sleeping Beauty on Ice

INTERNATIONAL ice dancers The Imperial Ice Stars return to the UK with Sleeping Beauty at Southampton’s Mayflower.

And readers can be in with a chance to win one of two pairs of tickets for their show on Tuesday at 7.30pm.

For one week the ice skaters will tell the timeless fairytale through high speed leaps and throws, aerial gymnastics and stunning stilt skating, all set to Tchaikovsky’s music.

Artistic director Tony Mercer has teamed up with Russian Olympic coach Tatiana Tarasova to take contemporary ice dance to a new level, inspiring the 26-strong cast of Olympic, World, European and national championship skaters to further raise the bar.

Over the past eight years, this award-winning troupe has gained a worldwide following and established a reputation for its sophisticated portrayals of classic works.

Tickets for The Sleeping Beauty on Ice, which runs from Tuesday 12 March to Saturday 16 March, are on sale from The Mayflower box office on 023 8071 1811, online at mayflower.org.uk or in person from the Mayflower ticket south shop in The Marlands shopping centre in Southampton.
