Winchester dog theft: man bailed by police Winchester dog theft: man bailed by police

A MAN suspected of stealing a Winchester dog has been released on police bail.

A 34-year-old man from Fareham was arrested after a raid on a caravan site at Whiteley Lane, Fareham, on Thursday (March 7).

He has been bailed pending further enquiries until April 22.

As reported yesterday on this website, the springer spaniel dog was stolen from a garden in Kings Worthy in November 2010 and is now back with her owner after a member of the public found her in Fareham and took her to a vet.
