DO these people hold vital information about an armed robbery at a Basingstoke nightclub?
That’s the question asked by officers investigating the robbery at Wonderland that took place shortly before 1pm on Monday, February 25.
Two men walked into the Churchill Way nightclub, threatened a member of staff with a gun, tied him up in the management suite and stole more than £10,000 in cash.
Officers have now released CCTV pictures of five people who might have seen the two men at the time of the robbery.
Both men are described as white and had their faces covered.
One wore a black padded jacket and dark coloured trousers, while the other man wore grey trousers and a dark-coloured jacket.
Detective Sergeant Danielle Daltrey said: “We would like to speak to the people pictured in these CCTV images as they may have information that is vital to this investigation.
“We believe all these people may have been in Basingstoke at times relevant to the time of this offence and would like to speak to them as potential witnesses.
“If this is you or you know someone in the images, please contact Basingstoke CID as soon as possible.
“Equally if you know anything about this incident or who may be responsible for it, we want to hear from you.”
Anyone with information can contact Basingstoke CID or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
