Jenny Gow, from Colenzo Drive, Andover, has been raising money for the charity in memory of her mum Susan Wake who died from the disease.

She took part in a sponsored skydive at Netheravon, where she jumped from 13,000ft to reach a grand total of £6,788.93.

Jenny said: “The following deserve a special mention for providing or supporting my fundraising events – Iris Anderson, Andover Parkinson’s Support Group, Barbara at Parkers Cakes and Chocolates, Hannah at the Beauty Studio, Gary at Andover Garden Centre, Wilkinson’s store Andover, Kate and Mike at the Royal Oak Goodworth Clatford, Claire at Sainsbury’s Andover, Yvonne at Asda Andover and David Mellor Jewellers, Andover.
