ANDOVER-based bookkeepers have celebrated picking up a top award for their profession.
Penny Randall and Sue Holmes were presented with the awards at the International Association of Bookkeepers’ (IAB) 40th anniversary gala dinner.
Penny, who is chief payroll examiner for the IAB, was given the Educational Leadership in Payroll Qualifications award. She was previously an IAB tutor and member of the council.
Sue, the former chief computerised bookkeeping examiner for the IAB, who now runs her own distance learning resource organisation, was awarded the Educational Leadership in Computerised Bookkeeping Qualifications title.
Malcolm Trotter, chief executive of the IAB, said: “We felt it appropriate that both Sue and Penny’s expertise and outstanding achievements with the IAB were recognised and celebrated, and we were delighted to present them with these well-deserved awards.”
