Locks Heath 1 Stockbridge 2.

Stockbridge travelled to league champions Locks Heath with the memory still in their minds of the 4-0 beating they recieved at home from Locks earlier in the season.

The Robins had Mr Versatile, Dean Savage in goal, and Dave Allen fresh from ski instructing in at full-back. Manager Barry Andrews also gave a debut to striker Liam Edwards, signed from Andover New Street. Edwards came close to making an early impact when his well struck shot brought a fine save from the home keeper. Soon after, Savage did well to smother a shot from a striker who had broken through the defence. This was one of the few chances the home side had in the first half, with the Robins' back four of Gavin Richards, Tristan Burton, Paul Barnard and Dave Allen looking solid. Stockbridge took the lead on the half-hour when Tom Baybutt scored from the penalty spot after Steve Witt had been brought down by the home keeper. Stockbridge made the perfect start to the second half when Lou Bain curled the ball over the keeper from 25 yards. They had the perfect chance to kill the game off soon after but Baybutt blasted his second spot-kick over the bar. Locks Heath pulled a goal back but Stockbridge stood firm to record a famous victory.

Overton Utd 2 BAT Sports 2.

OVERTON once again produced a great performance as they drew with Division Two leaders BAT.

The fixture list has certainly not be kind to the village side in recent weeks as after home games against the top two, next up is a trip to title chasing Fleetlands tomorrow. Against BAT, Overton took the lead after 18 minutes as Tom Pemberton's cross was stabbed home by Paul Coventry. The lead was doubled on the half hour when Adam Chambers headed home a Chris Morris centre.

The visitors hit back early in the second-half and then equalised and from there the contest was an even one with both sides having chances to win it.

In the crowd was Whitchurch manager Jason Nash, as their game was victim of weather, and he was casting his eye over their opponents this week BAT. The boss said: "They looked a good side and we know it is not going to easy going there, but I still think individually we have some of the best players in the league. But our recent signings have yet to gel in the team due to all the postponed matches."

Whitchurch's North Hants Senior Cup semi-final tie with Tadley Calleva which was called off last Wednesday, has now been arranged for next Wednesday at Longmeadow.
