SWEET-toothed shoppers flocked to The Brooks Centre in Winchester today (Saturday, March 1) as a colossal cake sale took place.

Around 1,000 tempting cakes were on offer as the Help for Heroes charity sold its wares to raise money for for injured servicemen and women.

The event was the brainchild of Anne Posonby, whose brother-in-law, cartoonist Bryn Parry, founded the Help for Heroes (H4H) charity.
