AGE Concern Hampshire is putting on a free information day about residential care.
The charity says that about one in eight people over the age of 85 need long term residential care and is putting on a free information day to help those affected by it on Friday, March 28, at its headquarters at 1 St Cross Road, Winchester.
Topics covered include residential care costs; powers of attorney; choosing and funding a home; and the emotional, legal and financial implications of long term care.
The day runs from 9.45am to 3.30pm and includes a buffet lunch.
