ONE of the main routes across the New Forest was closed this morning after a burst water main shut the A35.
Both lanes of the route were shut at Spicers Hill between the Rushington Roundabout and Lyndhurst after water was seen gushing along the road.
A spokesman from Southern Water said they are trying to get the road re-opened as quickly as possible after the 10 inch cast iron main burst.
