A PUBLIC garden in Overton is set to burst into life in the next few months after a Chelsea Flower Show award-winner donated plants as well as expertise.
Rosy Hardy of Hardy's Cottage Garden Plants has given several varieties of flowers and plants to St Mary's Hall community garden, located behind the hall on the High Street.
The 12-time Chelsea gold medal winner also arranged the plants to show off their best to users of the garden.
She said: "It was a matter of creating a display for them that was usable for the space they had and using plants that would grow there naturally.
"It also had to give some all year round colour and perfume for people sitting enjoying the garden without being too difficult to maintain. Hopefully it will give people ideas about what can be used and how."
