TWO Test Valley organisations have handed over a much-needed donation to a charity that runs a vital service.

The Upper Test Valley Vintage Club and Stockbridge and District Community Fund boosted the coffers of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance by £1,000.

They presented the cash to Jacqui Cowen, area co-ordinator for north Hampshire, at Leckford Village Hall on Tuesday, April 8.

The money was raised through a series of events, the most recent being a vintage working weekend.

Treasurer of the club, Lesley Hamlin and chairman, David Watts, presented the money.

The next working weekend is being held at Longstock over on September 6 and 7.
