ONE fan who will have to cover up on his next visit to St Mary's will be pub landlord Pete Spake who has had the Portsmouth crest tattooed on his leg.
The Saints fan had the club badge inked on his left leg after a dare from his pub's darts team.
Pete, 63, a pub landlord in Portsmouth said he would have the tattoo done if the team raised £500 for charity - which they did in just two weeks.
Speaking after his two-hour ordeal that was watched by some of his regulars, Pete, a dad-of-seven, said he had no regrets.
He said: "The lads in the pub are all Pompey fans but I'm originally from Southampton and have always been a Saints fan.
"The Pompey fans in the pub will love it but I'm not so sure about all my mates at home who are Saints fans - I might not tell them about it.
"Some of my kids are Saints fans too so I'm not quite sure what they're going to think of this. But I don't regret it at all - even if it means I can't wear shorts in Southampton again."
The money raised will go to a children's charity.
