The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

JAMES STEELE, 33, of Granville Place, Winchester pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. This relates to £47.50 worth of stock taken from Co-Op in Southampton. He was given a six-month conditional discharge and must pay £47.50 compensation. Steele must also pay £85 court costs. 

DAVID CULLEN, 33, of Dinham Road, New Milton pleaded guilty to theft of a pedal cycle worth £395 in Lymington. He was given a community order for one year with a drug rehabilitation requirement, and 20 rehabilitation days. Cullen must pay £40 compensation and £85 court costs.

CRISTOFOR SALI, 22, of Stafford Road, Southampton admitted to driving whilst disqualified and driving with no insurance on Thomas Lewis Way. He was driving a Vauxhall Vivaro at the time. Sali was given six points on his licence and must pay an £830 fine and £85 court costs. 

CHARLIE TURNER, 24, of George Street, Eastleigh pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled drug of Class B, namely cannabis. He was given a six-month conditional discharge and an order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs. Turner must pay a £26 surcharge. 

KRZYSZTOF WARZYNSKI, 31, of Lindisfarne Close, Basingstoke admitted driving without insurance and driving without a licence on Chilworth Roundabout, Southampton. He was driving a Volkswagen Golf at the time. He was banned from driving for nine months and received six points on his licence. Warzynski was fined £461 and must pay £110 court costs plus a £184 surcharge. 

ANKITKUMAR PATEL, 36, of Kitchener Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to driving without a licence on Hill Lane, Southampton. He was driving a BMW 520D at the time. Patel was banned from driving for 12 months and received three points on his licence.
