Farm reveals its own brew

EXCITEMENT brewed at the Overton Sheepfair as Laverstoke Park Farm rolled out its new organic ale and lager to attendees.

The two lines being produced are called Laver-stoke Park Farm Organic Ale and Real Lager.

Head of sales at Laverstoke Park farm, Peter Andrew, said: "We took a number of cases and I sold out within an hour and an hour and a quarter - it was exceptional."

Wessex regional director for CAMRA, John Buckley said that they were very excited about having a new brewery in Hampshire.

The ale went on sale nationally at Waitrose stores on Monday.
