The following driving cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

SHOAB CHOWDHURY, 60, of Regent Close, Otterbourne admitted to driving without due care and attention on Lower Stanmore Lane in Winchester. He was in a Ford Mondeo at the time. Chowdhury was fined £176 and received five points on her licence. He must also pay £110 court costs and a £70 surcharge. 

LIAM ARCHER, 26, of Burnhope Lane, Darlington admitted to drink driving a Jaguar XF on Southampton Road in Lymington. Archer was banned from driving for 20 months and fined £960. He must also pay court costs of £85 and a £384 surcharge. 

KRISTJAN DYER, 52, of Fobbing Road, Corringham, Thurrock pleaded guilty to driving without a licence and speeding on the A35 Lyndhurst Road at Ashurst. He was driving a Ford Kuga when he was caught by manned speeding equipment driving at 40mph on the 30mph road. Dyer was fined £450 and received five points on his licence. He must pay £110 court costs and a £360 surcharge.

KRZYSTOF GACZYNSKI, 44, of Bashley Cross Road, New Milton pleaded guilty to drink driving a Vauxhall Insignia on Fern Hill Road, New Milton. He was banned from driving for 16 months and must pay a £630 fine, £85 court costs and a £252 surcharge. 

SILIVU-MARIAN CHILIAN, 30, of Shirley Road, Southampton admitted to driving without insurance in an Audi on Wide Lane, Southampton. Chilian also pleaded guilty to driving without a licence. The 30-year-old was fined £576 and received eight penalty points. Chilian must pay £85 court costs and a £230 surcharge.

GEORGINA SYKES, 29, of Copnor Road, Portsmouth pleaded guilty to driving without insurance on the M27 westbound at Fareham. She was driving a Vauxhall Corsa between junctions ten and nine when she was caught. Sykes was fined £216 and received six points on her licence. She must pay £110 court costs and an £86 surcharge.
