The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

ASHLEY LEAR, 35, of Millbrook Road West, Southampton pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled drug of Class A, namely crack cocaine. He was fined £120 and must pay £85 court costs. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs. 

CEPHAS MANDIGORA, 40, of St Mary Street, Southampton pleaded guilty to two counts of theft from a shop in Southampton. Three bottles of wine worth £36.45 were stolen from Co-Op in Southampton. A separate bottle of wine was stolen from Welcome on Duke Street worth £7.65. Mandigora was ordered to pay back the value of the wine. 

DAMIEN KITCHER, 38, of Padwell Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing a controlled drug of Class A, namely heroin and crack cocaine. He was fined £195 and must pay a £68 surcharge. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.

FAITH WILKINSON, 23, of Southampton Road, Eastleigh admitted drink driving a Ford Fiesta on Turnpike Way, Hedge End. She was caught with 145 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of blood. Wilkinson was banned from driving for 17 months and ordered to pay a £364 fine. She must also pay £85 court costs and a £138 surcharge.

NICOLA BRENNAN, 43, of Abbeydore Road, Portsmouth admitted two charges of theft from a shop after £234 of stock was stolen from Next in Hedge End. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay £234 compensation as well as a £26 surcharge. 

SEBASTIAN KOLAZINKSKI, 36, of Westcliff Mews, Southampton pleaded guilty to drink driving in a Peugeot Boxer on Cobden Avenue. He was caught with 89 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Kolazinski was banned from driving for 22 months and fined £640. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £256 surcharge.
