A group of schoolchildren will play a football match at Wembley after scoring a place in a competitive final.
The talented youngsters from St Patricks Catholic Primary School will compete in the Utilita Kids Cup Final.
Taking place in May, the team of nine will fight for the win at the national finals.
Year Six teacher Tom Durack said: “We are really excited to play at Wembley.
“It’s a big event for us and not something the school has done before.
“We have played a lot of games to get here. We have a great team this year so we have set our sights on it.
“It shows the children that if you set your mind to it, you can achieve it.”
The team comprises of eight boys and one girl – Phoebe.
Goalkeeper Alan, 11, and left winger AJ, 11, are excited to play at the renowned stadium.
Alan said: “It’s unbelievable. We will be playing somewhere not even big teams have played.
“Whatever happens, we are going to Wembley and are going to try and win it.
“We will keep working hard to improve.”
AJ added: “We are nervous because we’ve never played in a big stadium like Wembley before, so it’s really exciting.”
