The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

MAREK JEDRZEJEWSKI, 39, of Drum Road, Eastleigh pleaded guilty to drink driving on Winchester Road, Southampton. He was caught with 40 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Jedrzejewski was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £400. He must pay £85 court costs and a £160 surcharge. 

SAMUEL GRIFFITHS, 36, of Cotswold Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to theft from a shop after items including red wine and Red Bull were stolen from Co-Op and Tesco in Southampton. The total value of the stolen goods was £416. Griffiths was jailed for two months. 

JOSEPH GODDEN, 28, of Westering, Romsey pleaded guilty to failing to stop after a road accident, failing to report a road accident and driving without due care and attention. This relates to a crash he was involved in whilst driving a Ford Fiesta on Rampart Road, Southampton. A brick wall was damaged during the incident. Godden was fined £80 and received five points on his licence. He must pay £85 court costs.

STEPHEN ANDREWS, 44, of Ampthill Road, Southampton admitted to drink driving a Honda NHX 110 on West Quay Road in Southampton. He was caught with 179 milligrams of alcohol in 100ml of blood. Andrews was banned from driving for 18 months and fined £120. He must pay £85 court costs and a £48 surcharge. 

TOMASZ SZYMANSKI, 40, of Canon Place, Southampton was found guilty of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle when required. This relates to an Audi A4. He was fined £414 and received six points on his licence. Szymanski must pay £110 court costs and a £166 surcharge. 

LEWIS HUNTER, 29, of Lowford Hill Close, Bursledon admitted to speeding on the M27 between junctions seven and eight near Hedge End. He was driving a Vauxhall when he was caught by an automatic camera driving at 85mph on the eastbound carriageway. Hunter was fined £71 and received three points on his licence. He must pay a £29 surcharge.
