An Alice in Wonderland themed afternoon tea has been launched at a New Forest hotel, close to the home of the 'real' Alice.
It's always teatime according to the Mad Hatter in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and literary lovers are enjoying the delicious new offering at Bartley Lodge in Cadnam.

Sink your teeth into White Rabbit choux buns, filled with a creamy surprise. And for a truly curious treat, savour the "Curiouser and Curiouser" coffee and chocolate opera cake.
No tea party is complete without delicate finger sandwiches, served here with egg mayonnaise, smoked salmon and cream chive, coronation chicken and cucumber, and - the pièce de résistance during our visit - freshly baked warm plain and fruit scones, with jam and Dorset clotted cream.
Wash it all down with a selection of "Drink Me!" tea infusions, coffee, or hot chocolate, served in special Alice in Wonderland decorated china, or a glass of fizz.
Fit for curious adventurers of all ages, it's all served in the orangery of the stunning country house hotel, overlooking its lovely gardens.
Bartley Lodge, owned by the New Forest collection of hotels, restaurants and a pub, is close to Lyndhurst, the village with links to Lewis Carroll's whimsical tale.
It is where Alice Liddell, the inspiration for the central character, spent more than 50 years of her life.
The daughter of Lewis Carroll's friend, Henry Liddell, who was vice-chancellor of Oxford University, Alice was ten years old when she asked Carroll to tell her a story - and the resulting tale eventually evolved into the much-loved novel.
Alice moved to Lyndhurst after marrying Reginald Hargreaves at Westminster Abbey in 1880.
Mrs Hargreaves became a society hostess and was also the first president of Emery Down WI.
Following her death in 1934 she was cremated and her ashes buried at St Michael and All Angels Church.
The Alice in Wonderland afternoon tea is priced £24.50 per person. Enjoy it with a glass of fizz for £31.50.
