Fire in Wickham

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a large blaze in Wickham last night (Friday September 19).
Around 14 tons of recycled cardboard was totally destroyed.
Fire crews were called to the inferno at around 3.30pm, behind McCarthy's Farm Shop, in Winchester Road.
In total, 23 firemen from Wickham Cosham and Fareham took around two hours to extinguish the fire.
It is not yet known how the blaze started.
