GRANDPARENTS are planning to hike from John O’Groats to Land’s End to raise money for research into cystic fibrosis.
Jenny and Leonard Kirley hope to raise £10,000 to help their five-year-old granddaughter, Erin, who suffers with the condition.
The couple hiked from Cornwall to Scotland in 2006 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. They are now tackling the trip in the opposite direction.
They are due to start their walk of nearly 1,000 miles at the end of May, and are due to finish in late July.
The Kirleys, from Fair Lane in No Man’s Land near Winchester, have created a web page for donations. Visit www.justgiving.com/jenlen if you would like to help.
