MORE then 20 firefighters from two counties tackled a fire that wrecked a workshop and gym in a New Forest village.

Appliances from Fordingbridge, Hampshire as well as from Cranborne and and Ferndown, Dorset, were called to the High Street, Damerham, at about 1.30am to fight the blaze that wrecked a small building. They were at the scene for about two hours. No one was injured.
