Fareham's Green Watch launch Teenage Road Accident Prevention Training

WITH two young people dying on the roads every day in Britain, one Hampshire fire station is taking action to prevent these unnecessary deaths.

Fareham fire station’s Green Watch have launched a course called Teenage Road Accident Prevention Training (TRAPT) in a bid to teach youngsters the dangers of the roads.

Fareham MP Mark Hoban joined the class and ended up being cut out of a vehicle.

Mr Hoban, pictured inset and left in a simulation of being cut out of a vehicle, said: “Courses like this are a good way of stopping young people becoming an accident statistic. I know that the firefighters on Green Watch are proud of the excellent work they do to make our community safer and I was keen to see it for myself.”
