CRIME-busting council chiefs have issued pink “burglary packs” aimed at driving down break-ins across the New Forest.
The free information packs, dubbed “Keeping Unwanted Visitors Out”, contain crime prevention advice including leaflets on home security and cold-calling.
They also feature a Property Watch window sticker and UV marker pen.
The packs come amid fears that burglars will target unoccupied homes in the New Forest during summer holidays.
Councillor Goff Beck, New Forest District Council portfolio holder for crime and disorder, said: “Burglary is a real worry for all householders in these times of economic recession and I hope that the New Forest Community Safety Partnership burglary packs will prove useful in keeping unwanted visitors out of our homes and bring some peace of mind.”
The packs are available in Forest police stations, libraries and visitor centres.

No doubt you will be robbed while out trying to find a pack, they should have been sent in the post.
