A HAMPSHIRE MP is urging charities across the region to take up free computer software.

Microsoft have written to Romsey and Southampton MP Sandra Gidley, pictured, to boost their software donation programme which is run together with the Charity Technology Trust.

“Good IT can really help charities bring in supporters and get out their message – so I encourage all local charities to give it a go!

Register with the Charity Technology Exchange, and see if you are eligible to benefit,” she said. Charities can register at ctxchange.org
