Girl, 16, punched and robbed by three men

A TEENAGE girl was twice punched in the stomach by three men who stole her handbag and mobile phone.
The 16-year-old victim was walking along Hampton Lane, Blackfield, when the robbery took place on Monday just after 6pm.
A police spokesman said: “This is an appalling attack on a young woman who has been emotionally traumatised by the incident.
“Attacks of this nature are very rare, particularly on a woman at this time of day when a lot of people would have been around.”
The teenager was using a cut-way leading from Hampton Lane to Wheelers Walk when she was robbed.
Her assailants are described as white, aged between 20 and 35 years.
They were wearing dark-coloured hooded tops and scarves.
