Alresford pupils feel the rhythm


PUPILS swapped school books for samba classes at Perins School in Alresford.

Year 7 Music students have been finding out about salsa, tango and samba dances in a unit called Strictly Come Dancing – Latin Style.

They have been studying the dances’ origins and the importance of music to dance. Students got to play traditional instruments and complex rhythms which are used in the Latin dances.
