A PEDESTRIAN has been taken to hospital after being knocked down on a Hampshire road.
The woman, believed to be in her twenties, was hit by a blue MG car on Coxford Road, Southampton, at around 8.55am today.
Police say she was not seriously injured, but has been taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
Officers closed the road for around half an hour to assess the scene as a precaution.
It is not thought the driver of the car, a 34-year-old Southampton woman, was injured.
