SHAMELESS star David Threlfall will be appearing at the second Minghella Film Festival on the Isle of Wight this weekend.
This year's event has a special focus on Anthony Minghella's television and radio career, tracing his development as a writer over 30 years, together with the long-term collaborations for which he was famed.
Threlfall will be joining Juliet Stevenson for a live reading of the 2006 radio play Eyes Down Looking on Sunday. The Shameless actor featured in the original BBC radio cast with Jude Law.
Stevenson will be featuring in a number of the works to be presented over the weekend , including the BBC television series, Maybury.
And on Saturday she will be reunited with Michael Maloney (with whom she starred in Anthony Minghella's first feature film, Truly, Madly, Deeply) to participate in a reading of Cigarettes and Chocolate.
Anthony Minghella's sister and Minghella Film Festival founder, Gioia Minghella, said: "This year's festival is really special, featuring a number of world exclusives and screenings of work by Anthony that the public won't have had an opportunity to see for some time. We're also delighted to welcome many of his friends and colleagues, who by supporting the event, make it so personal and unique."
