POLICE on the Isle of Wight are investigating a serious sexual assault on the Isle of Wight yesterday evening.
The assault happened in the public toilets in Medina Road, Cowes. Officers are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at around 11.20pm to get in contact.
They would particularly like to speak to a man who was seen walking from the direction of the Chain Ferry to West Cowes.
He is described as being in his early thirties and with brown hair. He was wearing a fleece and jeans. Anyone with information should call IOW CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
