A MAN was charged today with the rape of a 16-year-old woman on the Isle of Wight.
Oliver David Lale-Phillips, 30, of Victoria Road, Cowes, is charged with rape and remains in custody before an appearance magistrates in Newport later.
The charge follows an investigation by detectives from Isle of Wight CID into allegations of a sex attack in public toilets in Medina Road, West Cowes, on Friday night.
