THIEVES have stolen hundreds of pheasants from an estate near Alresford.
Up to 350 of the game birds, with a total value of about £2,000, have been stolen from a barn in West Tisted.
They were taken from Manor Farm Estate overnight on Friday.
PC Peter Wilkinson, of the Alton Targeted Patrol Team, said: “A large vehicle would have been required to transport these birds and it would have taken at least two hours to load them.”
Hampshire Police want to hear from anyone with information or who saw anything suspicious in the area.
