Nissan car flips on to roof on Millbrook Road in Southampton

DRIVERS are being asked to avoid the Millbrook flyover after a crash that left a car flipped on its roof.

Police are at the scene following the accident shortly before 11am involving a black Nissan and a red Daf tipper truck.

A woman understood to be from Southampton was driving the Nissan and has managed to get out of the vehicle unharmed. The 48-year-old driver of the truck was also unhurt, although paramedics are on the scene.

Fire crews have also been called to the road which is mostly blocked by the wreckage on the eastbound stretch near to the junction with Redbridge Road.

So police are on scene fireservice were also called. So the ambulance in the picture was added by the echo make-believe team or this picture isn't of the crash site

The lady in this car was my friend Sam. Cool as a cucumber after being spun around, flipped onto her roof and left dangling by her seatbelt. She was checked over in hospital and then went off to collect her children from school.She's invincible!
