THE search is on in a Hampshire town for volunteers to help count votes on election day.
Polling takes place on May 6 to elect 16 councillors to Fareham Borough Council and it is possible the Parliamentary election will be held on the same day.
If that happens there will be in excess of 110,000 votes to be checked, sorted and counted, starting at 10pm when the polls close.
Two recruiting sessions will be taking place at Ferneham Hall today at 7pm and on Saturday at 10am.
Anyone over 18 years old is welcome to drop in and find out more.

''Can you count?''
''Yes I can.''
''Ah well, you see, you're overqualified dear. This is politics. NEXT!''
