FEW people diagnosed with epilepsy in October last year would have signed up to run this year’s London Marathon.
That’s exactly what Southampton resident Stuart Rogers did and at the tender age of 57 years old.
Having already completed the marathon last year, Stuart will once again pound the roads of the capital in 2010 for the deafblind charity SENSE.
Bitterne Park resident Stuart will be running alongside his gym trainer Laura Angel from the Accolade gym on Centurion Industrial Estate.
Laura, 26, has helped Stuart through his training in light of the seizure he suffered in October last year and is also running the marathon for SENSE.
The pair hope to raise £3,000 for the charity which works to provide specialist advice and services to children and adults who are deaf and blind.
