MUMS and dads today have just hours left to protect their children from deadly swine flu.

Health bosses are urging parents in Hampshire to take the opportunity while they can because the killer virus is expected to return later in the year.

The Daily Echo campaign Do It For Andrew has urged all healthy children aged six months to five years to get the jab which could save their lives in memory of the tragic death of toddler Andrew McCall.

But tomorrow the free vaccine will no longer be available to healthy children as the Government stops the programme nationally.

Already GPs across Hampshire have seen a surge in enquiries about the jab and dozens of parents coming in to protect their children.

The Do It For Andrew campaign is in memory of 23-month-old Andrew, from Lower Duncan Road, Park Gate who died from swine flu.

His parents Sarah-Jane and Iain went to wake him on Christmas morning to find him dead.

They spoke out so other parents in the area could ensure their children are immunised and protected.
